William S. Teator had a large social network, engaging with people around the country and around the world. Though you can better understand the interpersonal relationships through our network graph above, the map below serves as a visualization of the spatial relationships between Teator and his correspondents. 

The yellow dots represent where the letters in Teator’s collections were sent to, and the blue dots represent the locations from which the letters came. The size of the dots represents the volume of the letters—for example, the large yellow dot is Teator’s home because that is where the majority the letters were sent.
